It all began in 1945 when the first generation migrated from Palermo, Sicily to New York City. Cooking has always been our passion. Salvatore Cucci decided to share his love for food. He opened his first restaurant in 1979, The Original Pizza and Italian Villa in Arlington. To expand his business, he started La Gondola currently located in Mansfield.

Such good food. The portions are huge. I got the penne pasta with salmon, really nice sauce. Such a nice filling warm meal. We got take out and it was packed so good, no issues at all. Very professional, very good food and a nice local restaurant. We are lucky to have such a good restaurant so near to us.
